“ Coaching is more than just wins and losses, it’s about sacrifice, discipline, flexibility, studying, teaching, long nights and angry parents. But you have to hang in there because it’s not about you; the most important thing about coaching above all else is the love for the young men and the game. It’s about teaching leadership , honor , dignity and the love for your fellow man. It’s about teaching them to look within themselves and bring out all that makes them who they are. It’s about teaching them to believe in themselves. It’s about giving back to the community. In the end the reward is when you see these young men as they mature into adults and know you may have been a small part of who they are today”.
